3rd Party Integration

It can also work in the opposite direction, where data is pulled from a 3rd party platform and is displayed on your site. These integrations can range from very simple (like a Wordpress plugin) to very complex (when integrating coding needs to be written from scratch).

Sometimes our clients want to allow restrict user access to content until they perform a certain task, such as providing their email information. This pricing page is a great example of gated content. This is often done for lead generation and whitepapers.
API Integration
API Integration is when a website "communicates" to a 3rd party application, either pushing or pulling data as needed. The difference between API Integration and 3rd Party Integration is 3rd Party Integration usually involves using a ready-made integration solution, whereas API Integration requires more tech expertise working with the 3rd party's API documentation.
Custom Calculator
Sometimes companies require an interactive calculator that allows site visitors to work out some type of calculation. A common example is an amortization calculator on a lender website. These custom calculators sometimes require pulling data from 3rd parties, such as the latest rates or current prices, and other times have stand-alone formulas.
Data Scraping
Data Scraping is when you pull data from another website and display it on your own site. Common examples include weather, airline prices and travel times. This service usually requires an additional charge.
Geo-Targeting
If you want your website to display different information and content depending on where the user is located, you'll want to use Geo-Targeting. This is where your website recognizes the IP address of the user and displays unique content based on their location.
